Senior Spring Boot technical lead owning complex Java development and team collaboration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain build pipelines using Maven or Gradle.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Collaborate in a virtual environment, offering recommendations and leading discussions.
• Support team initiatives and stretch skill breadth through active learning.

Required Skills

• 9 to 15 years of professional experience.
• Expert-level depth in Java 8 or above.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Git.
• Experience with build pipeline technologies (Maven or Gradle).
• Proven experience in unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and self-starter initiative.

Preferred Skills

• Agile team experience with strong knowledge of SAFE principles.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Kotlin, Python, or UI frameworks (React/Angular).
• Experience with business rules inferencing engines or insurance domain knowledge (ACORD).
