Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and event-driven microservices using Apache Kafka. You own the full lifecycle from feature design to deployment, optimization, and production troubleshooting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices with Spring Boot and Kafka (Producer, Consumer, Streams).
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for third-party integrations.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and concurrency.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and multithreading.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
