Description

Build and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot, focusing on real-time event streaming with Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug microservices using Java JDK 8 or higher.
• Implement real-time event streaming and system integration using Kafka.
• Manage asynchronous communication between services using messaging queues like IBM MQ or ActiveMQ.
• Write automated tests using Fitnesse or Cucumber for behavior-driven development.
• Deploy applications and manage environments within Unix/Linux systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot for microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for event streaming and processing.
• Experience with messaging systems such as IBM MQ or ActiveMQ.
• Competency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience with object-oriented design, development, and debugging.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
