Lead backend architecture and development for scalable microservices systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define application architecture, system design, and comprehensive HLD/LLD documents.
• Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable, and maintainable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Mentor development teams, establish best practices, and drive microservices implementation.
• Guide database architecture and optimization for SQL and NoSQL systems to ensure performance and data integrity.
• Apply SRE principles to enhance system reliability, availability, and performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java development experience with strong expertise in Java 8, 11, or 17+.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and backend architecture patterns.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with relevant certification preferred.
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (Sonar, Fortify).
• Ability to pass a hands-on coding test.
