Description

You will own the automation strategy for web-based user interfaces, ensuring high-quality releases through rigorous testing and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Author common APIs and libraries to extend the Java-based automated test framework.
• Execute automated tests within CI/CD systems and analyze failures to derive software quality insights.
• Perform black box and gray box testing by analyzing requirements for internal and internet applications.
• Manage the defect life cycle by logging bugs and collaborating with developers and DBAs to troubleshoot using SQL and server logs.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience authoring automation APIs and libraries using Selenium and Java.
• 5-7 years of experience writing and maintaining REST API automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Object Oriented Programming concepts, including Inheritance, Interfaces, and Collections.
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Proficiency in using SQL queries for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Ability to review web server and application server logs to identify root causes.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
