You will develop, enhance, and maintain Java applications, balancing new feature delivery with long-term system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based components using Microsoft Azure and maintain existing Java applications.
• Write clean, maintainable code using Java 21+, Spring Boot, and JPA, ensuring compliance with security and quality standards.
• Analyze root causes of incidents and defects, implementing sustainable fixes and reducing technical debt.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Maven, and Git to automate builds and deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies to support team collaboration.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java (version 21 or newer preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Beans, and JPA.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database interactions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Maven, and Git for version control and build automation.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Ability to read, understand, and modify legacy code and existing systems.
• Strong communication skills for working in a distributed team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBoss EAP, Struts, JSP, or Reactive Streams.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Kibana or Grafana.
• Experience building RESTful services within microservice architectures.
