Lead Java development teams, own technical quality, and deliver secure, scalable banking applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead junior developers through the full development lifecycle, from design and estimation to release and implementation support.
• Manage vendor technical interactions, including solution reviews, impact assessments, and security compliance.
• Enforce code quality, standards, and source control practices through rigorous code reviews and technical audits.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with Business Analysts and Solution Architects.
• Mentor team members, assist in recruitment and onboarding, and manage technical risk reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Spring Batch, Multi-Threading, and Spring Data JPA.
• Strong SQL and ORM skills, including Hibernate, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs and JMS-based solutions.
• Practical knowledge of container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using BitBucket, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, RDBMS design, and development principles.

Preferred Skills

• General banking knowledge, specifically in Wealth Management or Private Banking.
• Experience coaching teams and leading technical delivery in a vendor-managed environment.
