Description

You will design and build RESTful web service APIs in Java to support member-facing applications and partners.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful web service APIs in Java.
• Collaborate in an agile team to deliver solutions to business needs.
• Build clean, documented, testable code using TDD and JUnit.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues across system layers.
• Conduct design and code reviews and provide technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience with REST Web Services.
• Deep knowledge of Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
• Strong experience designing database tables and writing SQL in an RDBMS (e.g., Oracle).
• Foundational skills in Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience implementing SSO and web service integrations using SAML and SOAP.
• Familiarity with API security and using an API Gateway (e.g., Tyk).
• Proficiency with development tools including Eclipse, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Experience with testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
