Description

Design and build web services and applications in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web services using Java EE, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Implement integration patterns with REST and EJBs on Tomcat and WebLogic.
• Manage code delivery through Maven, Jenkins, and Spinnaker pipelines.
• Apply TDD, BDD, and static code analysis to ensure delivery quality.
• Utilize Lean, Kanban, or Scrum practices to improve team delivery.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Core Java and Java EE.
• Proficiency in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Angular or similar frontend presentation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Web Services and RESTful API development.
• Practical experience with Maven, Jenkins, and Spinnaker for build and deployment.
• Python programming experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile, Lean, or Kanban organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL databases.
• Advanced degree in a technical field.
