You will build cloud-ready enterprise products within a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test backend Java applications and REST APIs.
• Build front-end web UIs with a strong focus on UX.
• Coach and mentor other team members.
• Identify and drive technical improvements and innovations.
• Champion best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Java programming experience.
• Proficiency in JEE, REST, SOAP, and ORM.
• Experience developing, debugging, and troubleshooting web applications.
• Experience with application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat.
• Knowledge of SQL and data model design for RDBMS, ideally Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with CI toolkits including GIT, Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent commercial software engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend experience with React JS, Javascript, AJAX, CSS, HTML5, or Typescript.
• Experience with JS test frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or Jasmine.
• Multi-platform skills including Linux/Unix/Windows, Docker, IaC, or AWS.
