Description

You will build and maintain internet-scale solutions using Java and reactive microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x and Spring Boot 2.0.
• Design database schemas, including index design and query tuning for NoSQL databases.
• Write clean, test-driven code and conduct peer code and architecture reviews.
• Build and document REST APIs using Open API specifications.
• Implement messaging patterns using Kafka or MQ.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java 11 (Lambdas, Streams, CompletableFuture, generics).
• Proficiency in Java functional and reactive programming.
• Experience with Spring Boot (reactive) and Vert.x.
• Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and mock frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows and Gradle.
• Ability to design and optimize NoSQL database schemas.
• Experience with workflow orchestrators, specifically Temporal.
• Knowledge of load testing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in payment systems, real-time transaction platforms, or fintech API development.
• Leadership experience in development environments.
