Description

You will design and build scalable, highly available distributed systems using Java and J2EE.

Responsibilities

• Develop new APIs and host endpoints for backend applications.
• Design and implement distributed systems using microservices architecture.
• Build data-driven applications integrated with industry-standard RDBMS.
• Execute development and quality assurance activities, including integration testing and UAT with external vendors.
• Apply design patterns and object-oriented programming principles to solve complex system design problems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Java backend application development.
• Deep understanding of Microservices and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and data collections.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, or Informatica.
• Solid grasp of web services and REST/JSON standards.
• Experience working in Unix-based development environments.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and test automation frameworks.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JUnit and Selenium.
• Background in the payments or financial services industry.
