Description

You will build and maintain distributed system software in the healthcare domain, translating architecture into implemented components.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions to improve service performance and security.
• Take ownership of implementing individual software components, emphasizing quality and test-driven development.
• Translate system architecture and product requirements into implemented software components.
• Participate in design reviews and conduct peer code reviews.
• Help solve business problems through software development.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with technical innovation.
• 5+ years building back-end services in Java, including multi-threading and memory management.
• 5+ years working with AWS core services (VPC, load balancers, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, S3, EC2).
• 5+ years designing and implementing RESTful services using OpenAPI spec.
• Strong proficiency with Linux and container technologies.
• 3+ years experience using Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform) for automation.
• 3+ years working with RDMS and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of software and cloud security (mTLS, OAuth, JWT, Security Groups, WAF).
• Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring engineers.
