Description

Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and cloud-native architectures. You will own the release pipeline, ensuring security and robust architecture across all APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure APIs with a focus on architectural integrity.
• Develop cloud-native microservices leveraging AWS infrastructure.
• Analyze execution flows and debug complex codebases independently.
• Write and maintain integration tests to ensure system reliability.
• Apply advanced algorithms and data structures to optimize performance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience with Java.
• Deep understanding of Java features including lambdas, streams, and futures.
• Strong expertise in the Spring framework.
• Proficiency with SQL and database design.
• Experience with design patterns, design principles, and complexity analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices architecture and AWS.
• Ability to work with APIs and security design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JupyterLab, JupyterHub, or the Mercury ecosystem.
• Exposure to DevOps tools including GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Web development knowledge in HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, or ReactJS.
