Description

You will design and implement Java-based solutions, from mobile applications to database programming, while leading project delivery and solution architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write code for proof-of-concepts and prototypes to support solution architecture activities.
• Lead the design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of applications.
• Review and translate functional and non-functional business requirements into architectural requirements.
• Develop technical specifications for COTS software and configure products accordingly.
• Manage the delivery of software projects and maintain subject matter expertise on solution architecture.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java 11 and the Spring framework.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with message platforms such as Kafka, JMS, or MQ equivalents.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and databases, specifically Oracle and MS-SQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Unix, Linux, and Shell scripting.
• Experience working within Agile software development practices and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL database technologies.
