Description

You will design and develop a cloud-native SaaS platform using Java and Spring Boot, delivering secure REST APIs within containerized environments on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure REST APIs in containerized AWS environments.
• Develop high-quality implementations using unit and behavior-driven tests.
• Optimize the performance and maintainability of distributed systems.
• Deliver sprint work within an agile Scrum process.
• Write product specifications and document features for technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot software development.
• 3+ years of experience building software stacks using AWS technologies.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Docker/ECS, EC2, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with messaging systems such as JMS or SQS.
• Experience authoring tests with unit frameworks and behavior-driven frameworks like Cucumber.
• Ability to debug, analyze, and optimize distributed systems.
• Experience working within geographically diverse teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jasmine or Cypress.
