Description

You will design, build, and operate highly available, fault-tolerant systems supporting core banking, payments, and trading platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead SRE practices by defining SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for production systems.
• Provide L3/L4 incident response, conducting root cause analysis (RCAs) and remediation for critical incidents.
• Support and optimize Java-based microservices running on Kubernetes (EKS).
• Architect and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Go, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
• Expert proficiency in Java, including JVM internals and GC tuning for microservices.
• Deep experience with AWS Cloud services (EKS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM).
• Expert level knowledge of Kubernetes, including networking, storage, and service mesh integration (Istio).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience managing streaming platforms like Kafka, KSQLDB, and Spark Streaming.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Go, and Linux/Unix administration.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Splunk.
• Experience enforcing banking-grade security controls and regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, SOX).
