Role Overview:

This role is for a Senior Java Tech Lead responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based enterprise applications. The lead will focus on architecting Microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs, ensuring robust production support, and mentoring offshore teams while driving technical design discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Java-based applications.
• Architect and develop Microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Review, analyze, and troubleshoot application logs in AWS environments to identify and resolve issues.
• Monitor production applications and provide root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Identify permanent solutions for repeating incidents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Mentor offshore developers and provide technical leadership across the project team.
• Drive technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
• Support deployment activities and work closely with DevOps teams in CI/CD environments.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications.
• 8+ years of strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Rest APIs.
• Proficiency with MySQL.
• Experience in AWS Log Analysis (CloudWatch, application logs, monitoring dashboards).
• Strong concepts and knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience in Design and architecture review.
• Production Support & Troubleshooting.
• Development experience with latest Java Features (lambdas, collections, streams), SQL Queries, Troubleshooting logs, Performance fine tuning, Jenkins/CICD processes.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in leading offshore teams and coordinating delivery.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and delivery ownership.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in computer science, programming, informatics, or business.
• Experience must include architectural design and development.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of DevOps and working experience in CICD pipeline creation.
• Hands-on AI assisted development.
• Exposure to and adoption of AI tools.
