Description

You will lead the architecture and delivery of microservices, overseeing the migration from legacy SOAP to RESTful APIs and ensuring smooth transitions with reduced system complexity.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage services on AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, Batch, Step Functions) focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.
• Champion DevOps practices by implementing CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Jenkins.
• Lead the technical direction for microservices built on Spring Boot, designing APIs, managing service integration, and modeling data structures.
• Oversee team execution within Agile and Scrum environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development with enterprise-scale systems.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Proficiency in building and automating with Maven, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications within the AWS ecosystem.
• Strong skills in API design, service integration, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with databases including Oracle, MSSQL, NoSQL, and optimization strategies.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and microservice orchestration.
