Description

Lead the development of containerized Spring Boot applications and modern Angular interfaces while managing database migrations and AWS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain containerized Spring Boot applications with RESTful APIs and OAuth2 security.
• Migrate databases from Oracle to PostgreSQL using custom scripts and AWS DMS.
• Build responsive Angular web interfaces and implement database versioning with Liquibase or Flyway.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on AWS ECS, interpreting CloudWatch logs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and provide mentorship to junior developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with Java Spring stack: Spring Boot, Spring Security (OAuth2), Spring MVC, JPA.
• Strong experience with relational database design, development, and migration (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in developing RESTful APIs and containerized applications using Docker.
• AWS experience with ECS, ECR, S3, ALB, and CloudWatch.
• Strong experience with GitHub/GitFlow and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development and integration testing best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI/agentic development tools (Copilot, Gemini, Claude).
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and event-driven development using AWS SNS/SQS.
