Description

You will design and develop scalable, secure applications on AWS while serving as the senior technical escalation point for financial and audit systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS using Lambda, ECS, EC2, Step Functions, and IAM.
• Define and enforce application architecture standards, coding best practices, and design patterns across teams.
• Drive root-cause analysis for production issues in financial and audit systems.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and specifications.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers while ensuring adherence to Agile and governance standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience, including 8–10+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Expert-level proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services: Lambda, ECS, EC2, Step Functions, and IAM.
• Experience managing data persistence with Aurora and RDS.
• Strong background working with financial systems, reporting, and audit processes.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience with Scrum Master practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for production debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading complex enterprise application development in production.
• Proficiency in Html, Css, Javascript, and Angular.
