Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex Java applications, focusing on data quality and performance at scale. You will own strategic partner integrations and new features using AWS cloud programming. You will investigate and resolve complex data, system, and software issues in production. You will lead and mentor junior team members while participating in backlog grooming and Agile processes. You will research and implement performance tuning to maximize existing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Code and maintain advanced Java applications with a focus on data quality and performance at scale.
• Design and implement strategic partner integrations and new features using AWS cloud programming.
• Investigate and resolve complex data, system, and software issues within production environments.
• Lead and mentor junior team members while participating in backlog grooming and Agile processes.
• Research and implement performance tuning and enhancements to maximize existing infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services using JSON and JWT.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting using grep, awk, or sed.
• Strong knowledge of microservices development, distributed architecture, and service discovery.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot system integration, test planning, and security compliance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and Cloud Native development.
• Exposure to AWS, monitoring tools like DynaTrace or Splunk, and API gateways like Apigee.
• Knowledge of Monolith to microservices migration and IAM products like Okta.
