Description

Design, develop, and maintain complex Java applications with a focus on data quality and performance at scale.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Code and maintain advanced Java applications, ensuring high data quality and performance.
• Design and implement strategic partner integrations and new features using AWS cloud programming.
• Investigate and resolve complex data, system, and software issues in production environments.
• Lead and mentor junior team members while participating in backlog grooming and Agile processes.
• Research and implement performance tuning to maximize existing infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful web services using JSON and JWT.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with microservices development, distributed architecture, and service discovery.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git or SVN.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and Cloud Native development.
• Exposure to AWS, monitoring tools like DynaTrace or Splunk, and API gateways like Apigee.
