Description

You will develop and maintain low-latency applications using Java and Kafka.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement services using REST, SOAP, gRPC, and API design principles.
• Develop and maintain data access layers using JPA/Hibernate against relational databases.
• Implement solutions requiring hands-on Kafka integration.
• Write complex SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server or DB2.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience with Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience designing and building low-latency applications.
• Strong experience with relational databases, specifically SQL Server.
• Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and gRPC protocols.
• Experience working within Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of cloud environments, service mesh, and containers.
