Description

You will design and build scalable data solutions using Java and Apache Spark, owning the full development lifecycle from impact analysis to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance, modular code using Java and Spark.
• Perform detailed impact analysis for code changes and dependencies across components.
• Write and maintain JUnit tests to ensure high coverage and reliable business logic.
• Conduct code reviews to enforce SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical problem-solving within a cross-functional Agile team.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Strong proficiency with Apache Spark for big data processing.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with RDBMS systems.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with JUnit testing and software development lifecycle.
• Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Devin, CoPilot) to enhance coding efficiency.
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Funds Transfer Pricing domain knowledge.
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
