Description

You will own the design and implementation of large-scale production systems using Java and Spring Boot.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and document technical work products according to organizational standards.
• Design self-contained systems within the team's domain and lead significant capability implementations.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify domain-level problems and prescribe mitigation actions.
• Mentor teammates on improving system reliability, resilience, security, and performance.
• Lead the team in identifying small batches of work to deliver the highest value quickly.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale production solutions.
• Expert proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud environments and Docker.
• Experience defining test suites and instrumentation to meet latency and availability targets.
• Ability to evaluate potential attack surfaces and guide mitigation implementation.
• Experience decomposing intricate designs for maintainability by less experienced engineers.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• Airline Industry experience.
