Description

Lead Jira Data Center implementations and bridge the gap between engineering and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Map business requirements including workflows, units of work, transitions, approval processes, and custom fields.
• Design solution documents to determine optimal Jira project types, issue types, and configurations, prioritizing standardization over complex customization.
• Execute implementations by working with technical teams through testing, UAT, and production migration.
• Train internal customer teams on new implementations and provide coaching during initial onboarding.
• Transition managed systems to L2 Support teams following the hypercare period.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT industry experience.
• Proven expertise in Jira Data Center with at least two full-scale implementations completed.
• Experience mapping complex business workflows and requirements.
• Ability to communicate technical solutions to both Engineering and Business functions (Marketing, Sales, Legal).
• Hands-on experience with UAT processes.
• Strong background in Project and Product Management toolsets.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
