You will lead technical migrations and administration for Jira Service Management environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical build of target Jira Service Management environments, including configurations, workflows, and permissions.
• Manage full data lifecycle processes: extraction, normalization, transformation, import, and verification.
• Lead hands-on migrations across Jira JSM and Ivanti environments, ensuring seamless data transfer and platform stability.
• Utilize APIs, CSV/JSON transforms, and marketplace apps to automate repetitive migration tasks.
• Collaborate with internal Jira administrators and engineering teams, providing expert guidance and integration support.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in ITSM consulting, engineering, or platform management.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Jira Service Management administration and migration projects.
• Extensive knowledge of Jira platform behaviors, workflows, request types, SLAs, automations, and permissions.
• Proficiency with scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Groovy for data manipulation.
• Experience with migration tools like JCMA and Xporter.
• Strong understanding of ITSM principles and Jira ecosystem.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ivanti environments.
• Advanced scripting for complex data transformation.
