Description

Lead the design and implementation of a Kafka-based Event Driven Architecture (EDA) platform to support diverse integration use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance Kafka-based EDA platforms.
• Define enterprise integration strategies leveraging Kafka at scale.
• Establish best practices and guidelines for Kafka development, security, and operations.
• Architect Kafka deployments, including hands-on configuration and cluster management.
• Operate within an Agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecture or engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in the Kafka ecosystem: clusters, brokers, producers, consumers, and Admin APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and KSQL.
• Proven experience with the Kafka Connect framework, including source and sink connectors.
• Experience working in hybrid multi-cloud environments with GCP as the primary hyperscaler.
• Strong understanding of API integration.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the retail domain.
• Relevant certifications in Kafka or GCP.
