Description

You will architect and manage high-throughput, resilient data streaming solutions on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage Amazon MSK/Kafka-based streaming data pipelines.
• Configure and monitor Kafka clusters for performance and scalability.
• Integrate Kafka with AWS services including EC2, EKS, Lambda, and S3.
• Implement security protocols, disaster recovery, and high availability for data streams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build real-time analytics and data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience, including 10+ years with AWS and Kafka/Amazon MSK.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
• Proficiency in foundational AWS cloud services (EC2, IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Working experience in Linux.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Skills in programming, scripting, and automation (Java, Python, Bash, APIs).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Confluent Cloud.
• Knowledge of Windows System Administration.
