You will architect and implement high-availability Kafka solutions for real-time data processing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-availability Kafka solutions using Confluent Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Design topic structures, data contracts, retention strategies, and throughput scaling models.
• Establish security policies including RBAC, encryption, and ACLs alongside data governance.
• Integrate Kafka with enterprise systems such as databases, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering focusing on distributed systems and messaging architecture.
• Expertise in Confluent Kafka internals, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect, KSQL, Kafka Streams, and Kafka Schema Registry.
• Deep understanding of delivery semantics, fault tolerance, and scalability.
• Proven ability to manage distributed messaging architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud certifications.
