Description

You will serve as a technical lead and individual contributor managing complex application maintenance, defect fixes, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support end-to-end architectures involving DB2, IBM IIDR, Kafka, and SingleStore.
• Develop complex software to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
• Lead technical teams through story refinement, work estimation, and delivery lifecycle management.
• Guide engineers through CI/CD processes, including branching, pull requests, and release management.
• Perform spikes and proofs of concept to mitigate technical risks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development and application support.
• Expert-level knowledge of Kafka.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience managing operating production environments and configurations.
• Ability to design solutions using multiple architectural components across data and application layers.
• Experience contributing to integration, regression, and performance test suites.
• Proven ability to lead and coach team members in technical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MemSQL or SingleStore.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and IBM IIDR.
