Senior Kafka Engineer

You will design and operate high-scale distributed systems using Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Kafka-based solutions for high-scale distributed systems.
• Lead engineering and operations teams to improve technical delivery.
• Develop self-service platforms to streamline developer workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical decisions.
• Apply Agile and SAFe methodologies within the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in Kafka and distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Hands-on automation experience with Ansible, Python, and Terraform.
• Infrastructure management using OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of web services and messaging protocols.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
