Description

You will design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms in regulated environments, ensuring system reliability through automation and thoughtful design.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to guide reliability decisions.
• Build and evolve secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Implement robust observability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and OpenTelemetry.
• Partner with security and compliance teams to meet FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, NIST, STIG, and RMF requirements.
• Support ATO processes, including documentation, controls implementation, and audit readiness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Production-grade experience with Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, EKS, or upstream) in regulated environments.
• Strong proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
• Expertise in CI/CD systems including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Experience building or operating observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK).
• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53, STIGs, and RMF.

Preferred Skills

• Experience reducing operational toil by automating repetitive processes and improving workflows.
• Participation in on-call rotations, incident response, and blameless postmortems.
