Description

You will develop and manage complex software requirements and deliverables for electrical apparatus and IFE LRUs.

Responsibilities

• Translate project needs into programming deliverables and manage complex software-level requirements.
• Design, verify, and validate software to ensure conformance with functional specifications and DO-178C processes.
• Create comprehensive software documentation for new code, defect fixes, test cases, and test procedures.
• Develop test hardware and software using LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Coordinate development efforts with on-site and off-shore team members.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of related engineering experience.
• Proficiency with LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Experience with DO-178C processes.
• Ability to perform verification and validation of requirements.
• Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• US Person status required.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with data bus protocols such as 1553, ARINC 429, RS232/485, CDN, or AFDX.
• Working knowledge of C, C++, or Ada.
• Experience with DOORS for requirements management and configuration management tools.
