Description

Lead technical aspects of land and site development projects through the interpretation, organization, and execution of surveying assignments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and direct mid-sized projects or coordinate surveying programs of moderate scope.
• Conduct research and planning for complex problem areas requiring unconventional approaches.
• Supervise the work of survey department staff, technicians, and other professionals.
• Evaluate project progress and results to recommend necessary changes to achieve objectives.
• Apply advanced surveying theories and processes while staying updated on new industry methods.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of relevant experience in land or site development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Terramodel CADD software.
• Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to obtain Georgia RLS registration or existing registration in additional states.
