Description

You will lead the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle database platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Oracle database platforms, including installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Ensure performance, availability, and scalability of critical database systems through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Implement and manage backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery solutions.
• Troubleshoot incidents and conduct root cause analysis for database performance issues.
• Supervise team members in SQL and NoSQL database operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in database administration.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle (RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, Performance Tuning).
• Strong SQL skills with a focus on query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with at least one NoSQL platform (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, or Couchbase).
• Experience building ETL and Datawarehouse processes.
• Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Experience scripting administrative tasks using Shell Scripting or Python.
