Description

Lead the development and integration of derivative trading applications for a major investment bank.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements from traders, operations, and strats into technical design specifications.
• Identify technology solutions for system enhancements and new initiatives.
• Implement unit and integration test cases using industry-standard automation frameworks.
• Document all changes required to support business operations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of enterprise development experience using JDK 8 or 11.
• 2+ years of experience in Capital Markets and trading environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial instruments, including derivatives and fixed income securities.
• Experience building high-load distributed applications.
• Proficiency with message brokers such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience setting up cache or in-memory data grids like Redis or Hazelcast.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented techniques, concurrency, and multi-threading.
• Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Boot Actuator.
• Background in MS SQL Server and JMS.
• Experience with automated testing methodologies including TDD and BDD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Angular, and Javascript.
