Description

Lead technical delivery and Scrum processes for a large-scale Integrated Eligibility System, owning full-stack architecture and team velocity.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and React.js.
• Design RESTful APIs and manage data modeling with Oracle Database, including query optimization.
• Act as Scrum Lead: break down requirements, plan sprints, and remove team blockers.
• Build automation workflows using Apache Airflow and Shell scripts for batch processing.
• Conduct code and design reviews, ensuring compliance with security and government standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in Java application development with strong J2EE/Spring Boot proficiency.
• 8+ years in full-stack development with hands-on React.js, Java Servlets, and HTML5.
• Deep experience with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in XML configurations, XSD, and XSLT transformations.
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Strong Shell scripting skills for Linux/Unix automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps) and Git/Bitbucket.
• Proven track record leading Agile/Scrum teams in large enterprise or government systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of eligibility rules engines, case management, or public sector IT projects.
