Description

Lead technical development and architecture within a Natural/Adabas environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technical team members through architectural guidance and code oversight.
• Manage development lifecycle tasks following a structured SDLC.
• Design and maintain system functionality, data structures, and interfaces within custom-built Natural/Adabas systems.
• Analyze complex problems, document findings, and implement logical solutions.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of programming experience in a Natural/Adabas development environment.
• 15+ years of hands-on experience following a structured SDLC.
• 5+ years of experience as a Natural developer working with pension or financial systems.
• 3+ years of experience as a lead developer or architect.
• Proven experience mentoring technical team members.
• Expertise in ADABAS, SQL Server, and Job Control Language (JCL).
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.

Preferred Skills

• Recent experience providing data analysis or technical guidance for pension or financial organizations.
• Experience with data conversion from Adabas to SQL Server.
• Experience working within a Natural Construct technical environment.
