Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines, alerting, and reporting systems for trade and blockchain data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and automate ETL processes to improve ledger reconciliation and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute ad hoc and scheduled data reconciliation.
• Create data validation processes and customized reporting to monitor system integrity.
• Investigate root causes for exception reports and identify gaps in existing reconciliation processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing reconciliation systems and improving data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex data manipulation and optimization.
• Expertise in Databricks, Spark, and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java.
• Experience building real-time data solutions and processes.
• Experience building and integrating web analytics solutions.
• Extensive ETL and database experience with financial transaction systems, such as banking or exchange systems.
• Experience with one or more MPP databases including Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Experience using Datadog or other alert monitoring systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with reading and decoding FIX and REST messages.
• Understanding of financial reporting requirements for publicly traded companies and the regulatory landscape in traditional financial markets.
