Description

You will own the design and maintenance of data pipelines, alerting systems, and reporting infrastructure for trade and blockchain data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design data pipelines and automate ETL processes to enhance ledger reconciliation and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute ad hoc and scheduled data reconciliation tasks.
• Create data validation processes and generate customized reports for stakeholder needs.
• Investigate root causes for exception reports and identify gaps in existing operational processes.
• Optimize SQL performance for large-scale financial datasets to ensure efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience implementing reconciliation systems and improving data pipelines.
• Advanced SQL skills with expertise in MPP databases such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
• Expertise in Databricks, Spark, and Hadoop for big data processing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java for building real-time data solutions.
• Extensive ETL and database experience within financial transaction systems, banking, or exchange environments.
• Experience integrating web analytics and building real-time data solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog or similar alert monitoring systems.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with reading and decoding FIX and REST messages.
• Understanding of traditional financial market regulatory landscapes and financial reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.
