You will develop and maintain Liferay-based web applications, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with existing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Liferay-based web applications, including portlets, hooks, themes, and extensions.
• Implement and troubleshoot Liferay deployment issues and integrate with existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Participate in continuous integration and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.

Required Skills

• 5-12 years of experience in Liferay portal development.
• Strong command of Java and J2EE.
• Proficiency with Spring and Hibernate for application building.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Hudson.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and database concepts.
• Experience with jQuery.
• Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot Liferay and Java applications.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex Liferay extensions and customizations.
