Description

You will manage Linux environments, Kubernetes clusters, and automated deployment pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Kubernetes cluster administration, troubleshoot issues, and create monitoring scripts.
• Perform OS installation, patching, and maintenance for bare metal servers and VMs using VMware.
• Execute non-prod deployments manually or via automation using Ansible and Jenkins pipelines.
• Triage production and non-production system issues, performing deep dives into code and heap/thread dumps.
• Maintain middleware components including JBOSS EAP, Tomcat, and Artemis Messaging Queues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems administration.
• Expertise in Linux environments including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Amazon Linux, and Alpine Linux.
• Strong Kubernetes administration skills, including YAML and kubectl.
• Proficiency with Docker, including image creation and registry maintenance.
• Experience with Ansible playbook creation and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipelines and log analysis.
• Working knowledge of Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience managing VMware and virtual machine templates.
• Ability to support Java applications, including heap and thread dump analysis.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and New Relic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP, Anthos, and Apigee.
