Description

Lead technical planning and execution of storage-based host migrations within Linux environments. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for infrastructure changes.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical migrations on business-critical systems during and outside business hours.
• Collaborate with Command and Control teams to manage change schedules and implementation plans.
• Implement platform solutions tailored to specific customer requirements.
• Produce technical assignment documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
• Present progress reports during customer workshops and meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on delivery experience with Oracle ASM and related toolsets.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and commercial UNIX platforms.
• Experience managing implementation, transformation, and migration projects at scale.
• Deep understanding of Logical Volume Managers, Clustering, and Hypervisor concepts.
• Knowledge of storage concepts including SANs and Block storage.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery test planning and execution.
• Familiarity with High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles.
• Ability to work under local change control, governance, and security processes.
• Scripting and automation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Software Defined technologies and automation tools such as Chef or Ansible.
• Background working in the financial sector.
