Description

You will own advanced support and maintenance for Linux server infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor Linux infrastructure to ensure availability and performance.
• Manage the OS lifecycle, including installation, patching, hardening, and upgrades.
• Develop and optimize administrative tasks using scripting languages.
• Oversee system backups, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration.
• Implement and maintain configuration management and monitoring solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Linux systems.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Perl scripting.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with web services like Apache, Nginx, and MySQL.
• Ability to perform Linux vulnerability management and security hardening.
• Experience with system monitoring and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in incident response and root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of Linux networking components.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
• 3-year tenure in previous roles.
