Description

You will administer, troubleshoot, and automate enterprise Linux infrastructure operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot RHEL systems, handling installation, patching, and maintenance.
• Manage and optimize virtual and container infrastructure using Oracle Linux KVM and VMware.
• Develop infrastructure automation and provisioning scripts using Ansible, Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Provide L3+ support for complex production environments, performing root-cause analysis and performance tuning.
• Develop remediation strategies for vulnerabilities, interpret CVEs, and maintain engineering documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience supporting large-scale environments.
• Deep expertise in Linux/UNIX System Administration and RHEL distributions.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies including VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell/Bash, Python, Perl) and Ansible for configuration management.
• Experience administering storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, NAS, SAN) and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS).
• Familiarity with enterprise services like Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow for incident and change management.
• Strong background in vulnerability management and enterprise server security.
