Description

You will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable Linux infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and automated CI/CD pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and modernize enterprise Linux architecture and infrastructure.
• Build secure golden image pipelines using Packer, Kickstart, and PXE.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible and Terraform.
• Implement security hardening, compliance automation, and CVE response workflows.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Linux System Administration and Architecture experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with CI/CD tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows.
• Expertise in security hardening, compliance, CVE management, and Zero Trust principles.
• Hands-on experience with Packer, Kickstart, and PXE for image building.
• Deep understanding of NFS, kernel internals, networking, and storage troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with observability and proactive monitoring solutions.
• Background in capacity planning and performance tuning at scale.
