Description

You will manage, configure, and support Linux environments while driving automation and system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux systems, handling access provisioning and performance analysis.
• Validate and remediate server restarts following automated host failovers or patching events.
• Execute VM migrations following established design standards.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues by capturing and analyzing logs and dumps in collaboration with vendors.
• Develop automation solutions for operational support processes to increase efficiency.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Linux operating system installation, configuration, and administration.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing offshore resources.
• Proficiency in system diagnostics, log analysis, and troubleshooting latency issues.
• Experience with security patching and vulnerability management processes.
• Skill in automating operational processes using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Avocent DS View console management.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery, license entitlement compliance, and product upgrades.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Windows, VMWare, Storage, or Compute devices.
• Knowledge of ICS environments.
