Description

You will manage global Linux platform operations, hardware lifecycle, and HPC infrastructure deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, upgrade, and configure Linux-based physical servers for HPC infrastructure.
• Maintain production environment availability through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
• Manage infrastructure services including LDAP, HAProxy, Bind DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
• Operate OEM tools (Dell OMME, HP OneView, Fujitsu ISM) for BIOS and firmware lifecycle management.
• Create technical documentation and train team members across global sites.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration and system deployment.
• Expertise in PXE boot, hardware configuration, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, or CSH for automation and scripting.
• Experience with Foreman, Puppet, Ansible, Git, vCenter, and ESXi.
• Hands-on management of Bind DNS, DHCP, LDAP, and HAProxy.
• Operational experience with Dell, HPE, and Fujitsu hardware.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Nagios, or SNMP-based systems.

Preferred Skills

• MySQL database operational support and performance optimization.
• Experience using ServiceNow and Jira for IT service management.
